Overview
Tensorgrip® X41 is a high-strength, non-chlorinated adhesive developed for the acoustic lining industry. Its extreme tack, long open time, and controllable spray pattern enable rapid installation of panels and foam across brick, concrete, drywall, MDF, insulation, and polystyrene.
Tensorgrip® X41 provides a low-odour, low-VOC solution, making it safe and effective for large-scale or curved installations without the need for mechanical fasteners.
For above head height applications, a perimeter bead of construction adhesive is required. In Australia and New Zealand, we recommend SabreFix XT High Grab Adhesive.

How to use
- Surface Preparation
Designed to be applied to both surfaces to be bonded together. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or grease.
- Setup
Shake the canister or aerosol well. For canisters, connect hose and spray gun securely. Check fittings for leaks before use.
- Application
Spray 10–20 cm from the surface at a 90° angle for even coverage. Spray both surfaces — one vertically, one horizontally.
If the spray tip clogs, unscrew the spray tip from the gun and clean with solvent such as lacquer thinner or Tensorgrip® C101 Citrus Adhesive Cleaner.
- Bonding
Allow to tack off until touch dry. Align and press surfaces firmly together.
- Clean-Up
Clean spray tips with Tensorgrip® C101 Citrus Adhesive Cleaner.
